At the Chrysler’s stand at the Detroit Auto Show there was a very interesting presence: an electric prototype Fiat 500. The company said this is just an exercise, with no plans for a production version.
Despite previous rumors the 500 BEV will not use a Mini E style battery pack; instead it is powered by a the same modular electric drive system that Chrysler has been developing for the last three years.
There are no official details on the car yet, but we’ll get back with them the moment we’ll have them.
